From January 18 to February 14, 2025, C Market Coffee participated in Vancouver’s annual Hot Chocolate Festival with two exclusive Korean-inspired creations that captivated our guests. This limited-time event celebrated bold flavors, cultural heritage, and community, leaving a lasting impression on all who visited our three locations.

Gochujang Hot Chocolate: A Bold Fusion of Flavors

Our Gochujang Hot Chocolate became an instant standout, blending the rich warmth of traditional hot chocolate with the fiery complexity of Korean gochujang. The drink featured a velvety base topped with gochujang-infused rosé cream and a drizzle of housemade gochujang caramel.

Paired with a gochujang-glazed biscotti, this creation balanced spicy, sweet, and savory notes—a testament to Korea’s vibrant culinary artistry. Guests praised its daring yet harmonious flavor profile, calling it “unforgettable” and “uniquely addictive.”

Coco Dalgona: A Playful Nostalgic Experience

Inspired by Korea’s beloved dalgona candy, the Coco Dalgona offered a whimsical journey for the senses. A decadent hot chocolate base was crowned with black cocoa dalgona foam and crunchy dalgona candy pieces.

The inclusion of chocolate soil (crafted with almond powder) and a miniature shovel invited guests to interact with their drink, sparking joy and nostalgia. Many described it as “a cozy hug in a cup,” with its creamy texture and playful presentation earning rave reviews.
