This past weekend, C Market Coffee had the honor of participating in the 21st annual Passions Gala, a premier fundraising event in support of the Dr. Peter Centre. The gala brought together Vancouver’s philanthropic and culinary communities to uplift some of our city’s most vulnerable individuals—those living with HIV/AIDS, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness.
At the heart of C Market Coffee’s participation were three exquisite sando cakes, each a masterpiece of flavor and design. Crafted by Millda Bakery and beautifully captured by Mark Yuen, these creations embodied the festival’s ethos of innovation and artistry.

Matcha Red Bean Sando Cake married earthy, aromatic matcha with the subtle sweetness of red bean paste. The vibrant green hue and delicate presentation mirrored the festival’s celebration of clean, intentional design.

Chocolate Sando Cake has cocoa sponge layers were sandwiched with silky dark chocolate ganache, offering a luxuriously rich experience.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Sando Cake featured layers of vanilla sponge cake paired with luscious strawberry cream cheese. Fresh strawberry slices added bursts of juicy brightness, while the velvety cream cheese filling provided a rich, tangy contrast.
