Coffee Classes

At C Market Coffee, our passionate team is eager to share their expertise and love for coffee through an engaging coffee course.

Basic Latte Art (1.5 hour session)

An introduction, no experience required course that teaches you the fundamentals of tools, ingredients and techniques for pourings. Includes a practice session for pouring a perfect heart, tulip, and rosetta latte art. 

Advanced Latte Art (1.5 hour session) 

Must have Basic Latte Art as a pre-requisite first. 

General Barista Class (2.5 hour session) 

Fundamentals of crafting a perfect cup of coffee. Includes learning about the grinder and espresso machine. Teaches techniques for distribution and tamping that include pulling a shot, grinder calibration, dosing, and espresso extraction. Then, topping it off with milk steaming techniques as well as basic latte art.

FAQ: 

What do I need to bring? The course includes coffee beans and milk. Remember to wear dark-coloured clothes. 

Where is the class taught? At our Port Coquitlam location inside our Training Room. 

How many people can attend? We take a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 4 per session.
